How does it work?
Pause a video and a ShopLens button appears. Click it: ShopLens reads that frame, marks the products it finds, and shows shops in your country that sell them or the closest match.
Will it find the exact product?
Not always. It looks for the brand and model when they are visible, otherwise for the closest match. Prices, stock and payment are on the shop’s own website.
Which videos does it work on?
YouTube and TikTok first, with more open video sites being added. Not subscription streaming services: their picture is protected.
When can I add it to my browser?
Chrome now, Firefox next. Add ShopLens to Chrome from the Chrome Web Store, on a computer: Chrome doesn’t add extensions on phones.
What does ShopLens send when I scan?
Nothing until you click. Then the one frame you paused on, the page address and title, your time zone and a random installation ID. Our servers don’t store the frame. Details in the privacy policy.
